Weather permitting I am planning to lower my car this weekend.

I have lowered a number of cars before with both springs and coilovers so I know the general processes etc.

Just wondered if there were any Octavia specific trouble areas I should look out for, or time saving tips etc for this car

It’s a Mk2 VRS using Eibach springs

Time saver: 4 bags of cement in the boot..... :rofl:

Bloke who did mine whinged about getting front hubs off or something...not sure what exactly, sorry.

And a fat bloke driving it!

Oh & another thing-it's a PITA in the snow with less ground clearance. Need to get a new drip tray...... :doh:

The hardest bit is splitting the hub where it joins onto the strut, skoda use a special tool but maybe you could fabricate one.
