Oem Bluetooth/Sat Nav Retrofit

Featured Replies

Hi guys, is it possible to retrofit the oem bluetooth, how hard is it and any ideas any installers in the north of england?

Also with the sat nav, obviously you can fit it if you can find a unit for sale, will the MFD3 out of the Octavia fit and work in the new vRS....I read somewhere the can interface is different on the two models, is this correct

Cheers

Hi Chris,

You can install the 9W7 bluetooth (spare part 7P6 035 730 C or D) if your car is newer than March 2010 - and also the Columbus will fit perfectly. The post Facelift Fabis 2 has the same CAN bus as the rest of the line.

Installing it is not very difficult, but requires some coding with VCDS.

Thanks Jan, I will look into the columbus, I need to find someone in the North East with vagcom to work some magic!

Does columbus work with the MDI input,
