Will that support SDHC on H03.

You dont need any modified firmware at all. My 2008 superb came with 904 which is the first release, and was firmware flashed with the latest unmodified firmware and it works perfectly. The only cars that need modified firmware is when the 3T0 columbus is fitted in an Octavia. Flashing a modified firmware in the superb could lead to missing functionality,

Mannyo.

Thanks for that.

Did the SDHC work for cards bigger than 2gb after or even 32gb.

I assume I will loose whats on the HDD. Do I just put the Map back on the HDD then.

Update

I took the plunge and upgraded the firmaware from 0904 to the 2760_all firmware.

It completed within the hour and 100% successful.

The maps / Music / settings were not deleted.

8GB and 32GB SDHC cards read no problem.

The maps didnt suffer from the germany issue.

I can access the hidden menu and it shows

Delivery Part no: 3T0035680A

HW VERSION H03

SW VERSION 2764

I had one issue though.

The maxidot display only showed MFD / Phone and Setup.

Radio / Media and Sat nav were not on the maxidot.

The controls on the steering wheel do exactly as supposed.

I left it as I thought it might require VCDS settings.

I went out an hour later to go somewhere and low and behold they were all there perfect.

I had tried to restart the columbus but it only goes to standby unless left for ages.

Also the reboot option Ive seen elsewhere doesnt seem to work. Pressing eject < and > together.

Glad it worked okay for you.

As for the 3 finger salute, I'm pretty sure that it's <, > and the i button, not eject.

Andy.

Hi all. Picked up my Jan 2009 Superb 2.0 TDI CR 170 Elegance yesterday. It only has 4 digit pistcode. The dealership said they had installed the latest maps for me. I don't think there's a way to check without VCDS is there? However I want to update the firmware to 2760 for 7 digit postcode. I downloaded it from here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VD5REKW1

I successfully unpacked and burned to a dvd-r using imgburn. But when I insert it into the Columbus it spots it out saying 'cd/dvd error. Please check cd'

Any ideas if/where I'm going wrong?

Cheers.

I am just downloading that link, I'll tell you if its correct. If the disk is the correct one, try burning slower and onto a CDR as I have had better luck doing firmware from CD rather than DVD.

Had a look, that disc is the wrong one for the superb as it has the VUCI data from an incompatible version, loading that onto the superb could lose your steering controls and MFD. You need to try and find a totally unmodified clean version, i'll take a look.

Ok, thanks mannyo.

I have a brand new NAV CD supplied by my dealer and I get this error in my Columbus in my brand new Yeti. The DVD is Europe West (V7) A2C53430633. Have I got the right disc or is it just a faulty disc and my trip to the dealer tomorrow wasted?
