Hello, I've just bought an Octavia estate 2l, X reg, about a month ago. This is strange for me as I had a Skoda about 17 years ago. It was red with a black top and yes I endured all the jokes. To be honest it was one of the the most unreliable cars i have ever owned. And I got into 2cv's after that.. But i did forge a marvelous friendship. Duping him into giving me a push start in loo of a lift. (Also changing the head gasket on the side if the road... those were the days when an engine looked like an engine)

Any way, times have moved on and so far so good, apart from the starter motor going, the instrument cluster being lazy, the central locking randomly opening doors and windows as it feels like it....

She is a lovely drive and am pleased to be driving a Skoda again. I do miss the jokes though...
