Probably make for better track spectating as quarry corner is usually where more people end up becoming a little unstuck having gone a little too quickly down the main straight.

This means you WILL go in the main entrance off the straight bit of road, then turn left once inside and follow the track down to the end. We should still have plenty of room though, I am led to believe.

Have you got a link to the areas or a map with area K on it...then if I end up getting there early I can keep an eye out for the others and make sure the marker poles are far enough apart

Its K3 to K6, so 4 spots of I assume 20 cars per slot. Not sure. I am aiming for early too. Basically K is as far to the left as you can get when you go in the main entrance, and head left. So going in the direction away from the paddock.

Thats actually a much BETTER place to be.

As Jase says most people head to Quarry to watch the track action so in walking from the paddock to Quarry they will HAVE to pass through the Briskoda area. I remember one of my first days like this at come the Scooby owners club had the whole area to themselves - there was hundreds of the blue bast***s - was quite a sight!!

Essentially we should be somewhere around where the "P" is in in the yellow section

rather than the "P" in the red section whhich is where we were before

Its a great place to be, been in that section when I had my old mini. Flat out over avon rise then braking hard and unsettling the car for quarry corner definitely makes for viewing pleasure :-)

Yeah, maybe going forward we can always be there. They told me they are not using the camp corner field at all this year. Not sure why - perhaps not as many clubs have signed up to the show this year.

PS: If anyone has any stand tarting up parephenalia, please bring it - traffic cones, etc. I have quite a lot which I will bring, but more the merrier.

we'll bring a "gay zebra" as Des calls them and I'll have a look to see if we have any cones....also get in touch with Ant and Hana about the most important thing of all .......CAKE :p

Saw James at Allams this morning and he would really like to come down ...but it's all work related as to wether he makes it or not

I will have the tesco value gay zebra that Hedge donated a couple of years ago. Starting to show its age now though, but still vaguely working I will also have the briskoda banner, A frame (a la Des), bunting and flags and the like.

What's going on before the 2pm slot btw? I take it other groups have events booked before that. Just to get a picture of what's happening at the circuit before and after our slot in case people arrived early or wanted to stay on

There are other club stands which you can browse at your leisure, usually some very nice cars about. As for the track action, sessions start at 9.30 I think and run every 15 minutes pretty much all day (might be a lunch break in there somewhere). I just enjoy going for the whole day, don't see the point in getting restless and leaving early. Just bring a fold out chair and enjoy the smell of hot brakes and un-burnt fuel (or diesel soot lol). Always a good day out providing the weather is reasonable, we have been lucky the past few times and actually had to use the sun cream!

looking forward to this now... should be getting the estelle in paint this week and stickered up

For info, in regard to freedom members being drawn out for the 10 free tickets, I have decided to do the draw on Friday evening @ 8'ish. There is still a real odds-on chance of freedom members getting a free ticket as of the list of clubstand people, 13 are freedom, and 16 are not. If you're one of those 16 and thinking of getting freedom membership, I will change your status and include you in the draw, should you sign up this week. If you win one of the 10 tickets, freedom membership only costs a net £2.
