No longer for sale, going for part-ex emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Now with pictures, these where taken before Christmas, the only difference is the car now has a catch can and the Octavia badge removed from the rear

Hi, very quick feeler for my Octavia mrk 1 vrs.

I have just purchased a mrkII vrs and will be picking the car up next Sunday but would like to see if this is of any interest to someone before it gets part-ex'd

The car is modded so here it is very quickly-

Black magic Octavia VRS mrk1- stage 1 remap

Weitec Hicon GT coilovers

carbonio CAI

Forge Closed loop 007 Divertor Valve

S3 lower strut brace and anti-roll bar

powerflex dog bone bushes

colour coded grill, pressed plates with Mladá Boleslav surrounds

Philips X-treme bulbs

Golf Instrument cluster with Maxidot display

VW Version D satnav MFD

Phatbox

bonnet lifters

Arch vent

Colour Coded Rubbing Strips

parking sensors

Audi TT wishbone bushes

forge silicone boost kit

custom A pillar boost gauge

Whiteline 22mm RARB

3 button key-fob "mod"

Saikou Michi stage 3 oil catch can.

its a 2002 with 94k on the clock

Full service history

MOT until August

Tax July

One previous owner

Four new Vredestein tyres

excellent condition body

The wheels do have small curbing and have started to bubble a little.

I have had the car for 4 1/2 years and its been awesome which is why I'm buying the mrkII emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

I will pop pictures up in the next couple of days

I have been offered £2500 part-ex. It is due a major service, but as it stands they will give me £2500, so looking for £2750 no offers. The car is worth more if I strip the parts and then sell them on and the car as standard but I just dont have the time.

Sorry for this, its all been a little rushed.

Chris.

Now with pictures peeps!

Seen this car a couple of times and met Chris a few times too.

This car is spot on and all credit to Chris. Defo need to go and view it if you are in the market for a very tidy mk1 B)

cheap cheap cheap. I already have one but even I am tempted to buy this.

Thats a very nice example & a bargain at that price! Where have you bought your mk2 octy from? I got mine from dm kieth on clifton moor.

Got mine for a little trader called Prestige performance out near Skipwith, they take a lot of car's that have been part-ex at main dealers and sell them on, good company.

Its a shame I don't have a little extra time to get this sold on through Brisk, as I would like to see in the hand of an other enthusiast emoticon-0106-crying.gif .

Does the trade in place want the performance bits on it? Recon it could be returned to standard in an evening or two, and I'm sure my m8 would lend his garage out that has a pit in it.

It would be too rushed now, things get damaged if not done correctly and I don't want anyone driving it, if its not tip top. Given a few weeks, I would have taken my time and done properly. It's taken me two and half years to build it up to the spec I wantedemoticon-0106-crying.gif (please remember, I had to factor in the SWMBO).

Its a shame you cant buy the mk2 octy vrs outright then sell the mk1 at your leisure for a better price.

Someone grab a bargain bet the forecourt price will be £3.5k to £4k! I have seen and driven this car and it is one of the mintest I have ever seen, wish this car was for sale when I was looking for mine would of bitten his arm off!

Its going to this place http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/82435/prestigeperformance.htm but when I put down my deposit on the new one, a guy working in the garage said he would have it. I would still give them a ring, you never know?

Many thanks mate, I will give them a ring.

When do you swap her over for your new mk2

Edit: Could I perhaps also push you for a name of the person you are dealing with? Just to save hassle trying to explain the situation! :giggle:

Picking to new one up tomorrow about 3pm and dealing with a fella called Matthew.

Thanks ever so much pal. Let you know how proceedings go!

easy £1k for them then

Yeah I rang the guy Sunday, seemed nice enough but definitely wanted to retail it for as much as possible despite me offering a quick trade sale. I guess if the car is as nice as people say he won't have a problem! It was the mfd and instrument cluster that got my interest. But surely not an extra £1000 worth.
