A few weeks ago during the heavy snow my window wipers decided to start acting up and they will not reset back to the normal position. They stop a few inches above normal and it is annoying me.

I have tried replacing the fuses but no such luck which seems to sort the other wiper problems.

What do I need to do to fix it? I have tried pushing the wipers down to the normal position when they are off, but as soon as I start them again they go all wrong :'(

My money would be on the park switch in the wiper motor.

The arm on the motor has slipped, probably if the wipers have been frozen to the screen or you have tried to clear snow with them.

You need to take the arms off and the scuttle trim, remove the wiper linkage and reset the motor position.

That sounds rather complex for me... I'll leave that too the garage when it gets its service in a few weeks.
