LOOSE SEAT

Featured Replies

Gotta Fabia 1 and the drivers seat moves forward slightly when braking but only on the left hand side - it sort of pivots very slightly - it seems to me that the fixings on the right side are secure and it moves about an inch forward on the left side of the seat when braking . Is there likely to be a bolt not attached on a rail underneath the seat or suchlike that needs tightening up?

It does have a new MOT

Quite a common issue, normally sorted with a new seat base.

Are they still safe tho?

what sort of cost are the bases then?

I assume that they can't be welded?

Check under seat and look for a loose nut/bolt and tighten it up if needed
