Alloy Wheel Colour ?

Featured Replies

I,m planning to have a go at restoring my alloys, there quite badly scuffed, anyone know whats the closest match to original Skoda wheels you can get in a aerosol ?

AutoGlym Alloy Wheel Paint is a pretty good match

TBH..If you get a smart wheel repairer to do for you, it will be a perfect match and almost as good as new

I refurb wheels for a living http://www.mintalloys.co.uk/ Depending on the age and style of wheel it will either be Deutsche silver or sports 1, don't forget that if you go down to bare alloy you'll need an etch primer. If its sports one you will need to do a base coat of very fine first as sports 1 doesn't cover very well. To be honest don't bother with the aerosols from halfords etc You'd be better off getting them done professionally trust me I have seen so many wheels that have been diy'd and they look awful not because the owner has done a bad job its just the products used.
