Hi there, have searched but might not be asking the correct questions

I just purchased a car from Nissan and they serviced it prior to me picking up the car. They didn't know about resetting the service indicator so it currently says I don't need a service until 8500 miles which I think is wrong now. Can I reset like it shows in the book or do I need to go to a Skoda dealer? Thanks

Balls, don't want that. Would I be best going to my local dealer and sort it that way?

Any VAG dealer will be able to reset it for you, but will probably charge 30 mins minimum labour charge for what will be a 5 min job. You can reset it yourself if you own VCDS, if you don't have a look here:

for someone who owns VCDS near you, and for the cost of a couple of pints I'm sure someone will do it for you.
