Featured Replies

the 32mm nut in the center of my hub came lose on me today on my fun truck ,,,,,, why would this happen ? the only work thats bin done on it is a new wheel bearing around 2 months ago and not had any problems /funny sounds pull on the wheel untill today . if it wasnt tightened propper surely this would of happened befor now ? please help

cheers ric

which wheel was it (front or back?)

and nuts can loosen themselves off, due to vibrations, shocks, ect!

do it back up to the correct torque settings but use lock tigh on the thread!

should stop it from doing it again!

it was the front mate ill give it a go with the lock tight..cheers

couldn't have been tight enough' i'm guessing its the same nut that was removed to do the wheel bearing yea?

yeah, they are supposed to be done up to 300nm, which in laymans terms is effing tight! you are supposed to replaced them every time you undo them too

Bear in mind that if you've driven it with the CV nut loose it will probably have damaged the wheel bearing...
