Easy boys , got an issue with the vrs drove it the other day and had a miss from cold after leaving it for a week while on holiday but seems to be ok now? I also have noticed the car boosts to just before 3k then drops off and builds boost again it does sound like it dumps a tiny bit when i drops off? Any help would be great think it may be ignition related

could be a boost leak...

Only seems to drop in second when its cold but harsh drop and third when under acceleration...

My plugs were duff and caused bad boost issues and misfiring.

new plugs tomorrow if still got a misfire then coils on the extended warranty for free :p

Does your DV come with harder springs???? if so change it Had to do mine....and now it is fine

yeah stock spring in it , just changed plugs and coils and erm bit better but not right

Think it is a boost issue as suggested with spring as after a road test it drop boost slightly at 28 in 3rd 25 in 4th and 23ish in 5 so dump valve spring is too week under load cheers dude

I seem to have a similar problem and mine is mapped etc but has the standard spring in , gona swap mine over asap see if it works too (same car) changed plugs and air intake sensor so far and changed from bailys d/v to similar ones to the above

Just put the yellow one in mine , not driven it yet will let you know what its like .....

Mine also seems to have a low maf reading after a log session on vag com, so think this maybe other problems too

I had same issue and it was my boost valve.Replaced it wiht upgraded N75 J valve off ebay and now its much better then its ever been.

could also be the n249 valve opening it as it uses the d/v as a boost controller when its piped from the factory

no fault codes at all on mine :( ordered forge dv spring and service kits , brether hose in silicone too

Ordered the viper y breather but my awesome set will be here tomorrow anyone want to purchase the viper one when it turns up tuesday? Can collect from gsf in huddersfield will post up when here

Viper breather just arrived so if anyone wants to collect it and quality is great
