Hi, i have searched this site and the internet but cant find an answer! I have just purchased a octavia vrs mk1, but i cant open the bonnet. When i pull the lever i here a slight click, but the bonnet does not move and there is nothing popping out to release from the grill. How do i open it?

you can get someone to pull the leaver and try lifting the bonnet, sometimes this works.

no offence but did you really buy a car without looking under the bonnet??

no, the dealer opened it. I would go back to them buts it 100 miles away from me. I have tryed pushing, pulling it whilst someone pulls the leaver but it still wont open?

Get someonr to pull it and then lift up and under there is a little bar you need to move towards the drivers side to open.......

I usually find that pushing a stuck bonnet down while someone pulls the lever usually works, may take a few attempts.
