Fitted Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 195/55 R15 85H winter tyres on steel rims (from mytyres) just before Christmas. Noticed a slight increase in fuel economy since. Normal fill to fill has been of late around the 45 mpg mark now getting 47.5 mpg :) Currently covered close to 3800 miles since we collected her in September.

Very pleased we went down the winter tyre route; besides the apparent positive effect on fuel consumption, grip and ride comfort have also noticeable improved in all winter conditions.

Hi,

fitted to front and rear

Tyres came fitted to none OEM rim's as a package from mytyres. The rims appear reasonably good quality and look very similar to Skoda originals. However on three of them the OEM wheel trims I got from the dealers stand proud of the rim edge by 3-4mm :wonder: Price for the entire package and delivery to the door from Eastern Germany £470, which I thought was reasonable considering the shortage of winter tyres at the time (non at any local fitting station within 25 miles). Did enquire price for OEM rims at the dealers that came to £148.
