Mk1 Diesel VRS?

Looks good, what have you done with the exhaust cut out? Or do you still have the non vRS bumper on? I have just thought of another difference though if your beeing really fussy, the speedo/dials are different then a vRS lol

Oh and I think the side repeaters are smoked on the vRS.

The vRS also has chrome door pins.

And technically on a vRS of that age the trim on the inside of the a/b/c pillars and the roof should have the dark not the light headlining but now I'm just being really picky lol lol

Sorry but you did ask for all the differences lol it still looks good though and to the un-trained eye it would look like a vRS.

The dials i could do nothing about, what with the difference in them because of the engine and the gear knob top i had to change because ive got a 6 speed box opposed to the RS's 5!

Ive got the side repeaters just not fitted them yet and i didnt like the crome door pins so i left those off, although i have got them

Its got the standard rear bumper and exhaust but im trying to get hold of an RS back box to fit the tail pipe and trim on.

The interior i got from the car had the same colour roof trim as mine! so didnt change any of that

The idea isnt to copy an RS but to make a diesel version or sorts

The other things ive got to do is the carpet, which i have but ive not decided yet if i like the light grey or not and ive got to fit the alloy pedels

That’s fair enough, as I said I do think it looks good I am just a perfectionist, my girlfriend says I have OCD when it comes to my car lol lol

I was like that with my E30 M3 lol

Im not sure if i want to keep some things differnet, like the exhaust and the carpet so as not to upset the purests!

Or change everything so you cant tell

Ive found a company that does custom dials and will make me a set of RS ones in the diesel configuration, but im not sure its worth the hassle
