I am pretty new here and my skoda is just 1 week old (skoda suberp elegance 3.6 4x4). My question: is it possible to close the boot lid by the remote key? Is it possible to do so with any vcsd codes, I dont want to install new wires or anything else. I know from other VW cars it is possible! Why I need this: my kids are to short to push the button and its helpfull for me instad to get in and out all the time.... bettwen horse riding and so on........

I hope my explenation is detailed enough to understand in terms of my english knowleadge!

Herzlichen Glueckwuensch.... schoenes Auto!

Eine Frage ist... Wurde der Wagen mit eine Elecktrische Heckklappe Bestellt/geliefert? (ich vermute Ja da du deutest dass es ein Knopf an der Heckklappe gibt).

Wenn Ja dann ist es ganz einfach, es geht mit dem:

Knopf an der Heck klappe - einmal druecken u. zu geht die klappe

Schluessel - das mittlere knopf ist fuer die Heckklappe, bitte druecken zum oeffnen u. nochmal (aber laenger) druecken... u. zu geht die Klappe

Knopf bei den electrischen Fenster-hebel - bitte druecken u. etwas laenger halten und dann geht die Klappe Zu

Bei all Diese moeglichkeiten kann auch jeder Zeit nochmal gedrueckt werden u. die Klpappe stoppt wo sie ist.... z.b. fals ein Kind vorbei laueft o.a.

Ich hoffe dies hilft. Wenn der Wagen Keine Elektrische Heckklappe hat dann kann ich nicht weiter helfen, sorry.

I'm sure the gas struts are different too, they definitely look "beefed up" on cars that I've seen with the electric tailgate... Not sure what the mechanism is either, hydraulic...? I think it would be quite a challenge to retro fit all the necessary parts; pumps, motors or whatever.

The mechanisms are probably electrics motor fitted with screw spindles.
