Hi,

The Check Engine Lamp is on my Fabia vRS, I have a U380 OBD-II scanner but the fault code reads as N/A. I reset the fault but 3 days later it has come back.

Engine is running fine with no loss of power.

Any ideas please?

Yes, I know. I was asking if anyone has actually seen this before - an error without an alert code on one of these hand scanners.

Also, has anyone in the Ashby de ls Zouch area got a vag-com I can borrow please?

Mine did that when the coolant temp sensor was degraded but not completely faulty. I only found out by doing a fault code when the light WASN'T on, which showed a 'Pending' code. But without confirmation, it really is anybody's guess...

Got the car on a vagcom today:

17055 - Cylinder 1 Glow Plug Circuit (Q10) Electrical Fault P0671 - 35-00 - -

Going to check the glowplug wiring harness and resistance of plugs sometime this weekend.

Contacted Skoda and they were quoting £18 each for replacement plugs. Anyone know of a cheaper place I can source 130pd plugs from please?
