interior lights not coming on

Featured Replies

is this a fuse probably? anyone know the fuse number for interior lights?

happened after i put in LED bulbs earlier. worked fine when i put them in, simple straight swap. now there all out?

Daft question - have you tried swapping the LED's around end to end, as I believe they're polarity sensetive (as is the nature of a diode) whereas a bulb isn't. . .

If not - there's a fuse panel layout for you.

yeah mate i know there polerised, but i made them work, left the car for a few hours, went to more it and when i unlocked the car had no lights, so when i got in, flicked the switch and ressed the buttons and got nothing from anywhere, then noticed glovebox bootlight and doors wernt lit either, strange, once i drove the little leds would like only by pressing the buttons then they didnt again......i think it will be the fuse but dont understand why this has happened with LEDS. should it?

Refit the original bulbs and see if they work.

simple fuse fix, just confused of why it happened, thats with normal bulbs back in as im waiting on an led festoon bulb to complete the set. so will try the all as leds .once i get them through the post.might need another fuse but we will see. didnt think changing them to LEDS would have blown the fuse but owell, maybe just coincidence.

They shouldn't have blown the fuse as LED's use less current, all a bit strange really unlees you had the wrong rated fuse in there.

nah 10amp. maybe the boot one tripped the fuse as it was being tempremental, and i messed about swapping bulbs in and out trying a couple of different ones, maybe it just flicked the fuse from all the ins and outs.
