Black rearview mirrors

Featured Replies

I quite like them! I found this one the French forum.

It reinforces the Yeti's best design feature: the race helmet glasshouse that goes from B-pillar to B-pillar.

Yes, I kind of agree, particularly effective with the white paint. I usually prefer plain to 'fussy'.

I totally agree. I wanted to opt out of the colored-in mirrors and door handles when I bought mine, but alas, to no avail.

It works well on the white.

I think if you buy the entry level 'E' model you get black unpainted mirrors.

Alas this is one of those lovely SUK brochure anomalies. See this thread point 21:

21. Under the base spec for the E it is noted that body colour mirrors and door handles are standard from this base level and up. Yet when you get to SE spec it is listed again as something that is only available from SE spec and up. Which is correct? From the E spec it implies that all Yetis come with this feature. Again you would have easily picked this anomaly up had you used a column based system.

So having never seen an E before I have no idea what a UK E's mirrors should look like going by that pathetic brochure... And sadly even though this was pointed out to SUK as per my thread, the latest Yeti brochure still has this anomaly present. Go figure.

I reckon it would look even better with body coloured door handles and rubbing strips.

The matt black wing mirrors look base spec to me, gloss black to match the glass however would look brill

Now you're talking. I like that idea a lot. So take a standard UK fully colour coded car and just add gloss black mirrors. emoticon-0148-yes.gif
