Techniclutch Fast Road Clutch vRS hmmm?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Well my shopping list is starting to grow and one of my major purchases will be a much more suitable clutch for the torque output of the car.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SKODA-FABIA-1-9TDI-VRS-FAST-ROAD-ORGANIC-CLUTCH-/250732855921?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a60d7c271

After the usual thumbing through ebay pages I spotted this listing, Ive heard briefly of this company but the price seemed to shine for me more than anything and the manner of which it is spoken about in the listing is that its an improvment on the original clutch of the car,

Has anybody had any dealing with this clutch, because if its good ill be buying it

Thanks for any comments

There's a reason they're cheap. You get what you pay for?

Yer ive been looking on other car forums and there feedback is mixed! Just wanting the best for my car but over £1k does seem like quiet abit for a decent clutch kit, but as you said you get what you pay for :(

Says it all when they don't even quote any figures. Just for cars "driven hard" pmsl

Yer i sent an email asking them what they define there maximum power and torque output to be.

Buy cheap and you buy twice

trash! just a cheap oem replacement with a bit of hammerite on...

wouldn't fit one to my pushbike

They may have perhaps squeezed the pressure plate, but that's about it.

Had an email claiming these can go up to 310lbft of torque

Standard is 300 isn't it?

Doesn't really seem worth it if it is.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Yup, most people who know how to drive can run 300lbft on a standard clutch. If you not going mega power, get a sachs clutch £600ish & 400lbft rating.

Matt

All depends on what sort of power you are running or planning to run???

Would like a good 200bhp if possible, I think at the end of the day, I need to put the £££'s in as many have said get what you pay for.
