Each to their own, but I reckon the best place for them is left on their website. They are the new Lexus lights. :giggle:

oh jesus, my eyes my eyes!!!!

Fit some LED side lights? Look the same colour, only without being poinltess, clearly aftermarket and more expensive and effort.

Just IMO of course.

Sadly, Lexus lights were mainly confined to. . .Lexus's's's's, whereas these wretched things aren't what with new cars etc.

Can you get E marked LED 501 bulbs? How bright are they?

No idea on either I'm afraid, I've not looked into it as removing the bumper to fit them isn't the hastle on my car. The xenons are brighter anyway. B)

Nothing! :giggle: :pAlthough seriously, I do like that on Lexus's, it's just when badly ripped off they don't work.

Anybody mounted Ring - Aurora 150mm DRL's onto a Fabia vRS?

http://www.ringautomotive.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=2060

If so, I would be interested where you have put them.

I (confess to having) looked at these - or something very similar in Halfords - couldn't work out where to put them either. I went for LED sidelights in the end - though one failed after one month. I sent both back and had two more returned - so I've just put them in and we'll see if they last - otherwise I'm reverting to ordinary bulbs...

The other option is putting LED bulbs into the foglights - should be OK as DRLs depending on the output - but no one appears to have done this yet and certainly I can't find the light output data for such bulbs...

does anyone know if the mk2 fabia vrs drl fit on a mk1 vrs to replace the foglights with the drl, look like same fitting for drl/ foglights maybe just straight swap

E-marked LED bulbs next to impossible to get as I believe a bulb can only be e-marked if it is of the same type. If e-marking is important try Osram cool blue 21d, they're not perfect white, but are better and a little brighter than your standard bulbs. Another option is Philips bluevision sidelight bulbs, I can't remember if there are two different colour temps available - if there is the one you want is the one with the highest number.

Police could still do you over it as the fogs will have type approval marking on them (on the glass at the front) for only fog use. Police will see them as fogs.

I am sure even Police who do not know about the markings will do people with proper DRL's for having anything turned on that looks like fogs.
