Spark Plugs

Featured Replies

Can anyone explain the benefits of upgrading the spark plugs in a furby vRS? How much? Where to get them? etc etc etc. Many thanks in advance.

Yours sincerely

Mr Lamen

Absolutely no benefit whatsoever...

Oh I wanted to say that!! :D

As Rob has said a TD engine does not use spark ignition but compression ignition.

You do, however have Glow Plug preheaters, these are used prior to starting.

So when people say the sparkplugs wont take anymore than 200bhp is it true?

Me to I'm afraid.

Possibly talking about the injectors but they're good for around 220bhp I beleive.

The point is that there isn't any spark plugs in the engine - so whether they'll take 200bhp or not is neither here nor there, as there isn't any in the engine in the first place! :)
