Octy vRS jabba chip.

How long has it been chipped? Has it done it before? Have you had a chance to have it checked by VAG COM to see what faults are logged?

It would be helpful to know what error codes (if any) the engine is throwing. In the absence of that data, I'd be say you may be suffering from a faulty (leaky) diverter valve, or the boost-pipe-with-the-clip-that-comes-off issue. :D

How many miles? I only ask bacause I've mainly seen the pipe issue manifest itself only after quite a few miles (>50,000). I'll search for a link to the pipe problem if someone doesn't get there first...

It was chipped from new! I have noticed on a couple of occassions that it did not feel as brisk. I am taking into the dealer for a diagnostic friday.

An interesting situation. As the dealership sold you the car already remapped, the onus is on them to fix it. Let us know how you get on.

Sounds like the boost is either spiking or its going too far away from the demanded boost map

Either take it back to the dealer or contact Jabba direct, which the dealer would do anyway I gues..

Got it sorted chaps, took it to the dealer who said the error codes were lack of pressure. A little investigation found that the pipe was loose on the turbo. Seems to be ok now! certainly felt ok coming back along the twisty lanes!
