Well, have you seen any vRS-engineered boost-gauge?

I know that there are some very nice in design Audi TT ones, but I haven't found any for the vRS :nono:

The gauge could have a nice design, like the APR one for the TT's (picture below)

The face looks nice and clear but the surround looks naff. Have you had a search of VWVortex or 20vTurbo.com?

I've got a hazy recollection of seeing an afrtermarket boost gauge HOWTO on www.club18t.com

Not sure if it would suit what you want, though - IIRC the gauge was in a pod, mounted on the A pillar

What lights, no one mentioned anything about lights.

I've ordered a SECS unit for when they come available in a couple of weeks (come on extract the digit Disco ). These are a single DIN unit that connect into the ODB port under the steering column and cand display most of the info direct from the ECU. So I get what I want, oil pressure, oil temp and boost pressure. Mainly user configurable as to what is displayed, IIRC. So much neater than a row of guages
