Hi all,

Having got the V7 maps DVD and installed the maps on my Columbus I wondered what, if anything, I now need the DVD for?

There is an option to use the maps from DVD but I chose the copy function to install the maps on the unit.

Do I need to keep the DVD in the car?

No, you would only ever need it again if for some reason the Columbus crashed and you needed to re-install the maps.
