Alloy wheel security nut adaptor

Featured Replies

I'm going to be swapping round my horrible Dunlops on my car.

How many security nut adapators should have been supplied with the car ?

1 or 2 ? Before I start looking everywhere.

I'm going to wear down these awfull tyres to just legal before changing all 4.

  • Just one in the wheel well ,where your jack is , it is in a recess for it

Thanks Blu, found it just where you said it would be !

Just hope the nuts aren't too tight and deform when removed.

I will be carefull but the last lot on my Pug had to be drilled out due to a moron at the tyre place.

After I suffered the same problem on a previous car, I took to removing the locking bolt myself before the car went in for a service or tyres, then refitting them when I got it back!:)

Spoke too soon !

Front offside tyre is not good, excessive uneven wear on inside edge. All other tyres wearing evenly.

No point swapping front/rear, need new fronts.

I hope this is not the dreaded geometry problem.
