Yeti Greenline II Aerodynamics Package

I know about the wheel size and the lowered suspension, but what else do they do besides limiting the options list?

Alter the engine mapping to favour economy rather than power (wish the 1.6TDI was available in non-Greenline mode!) and keep the weight down by limiting the extras you can ask the factory to put in it.

Perhaps use extra-glossy paint??

As you can buy the spare wheel kit etc from dealers there seems nothing to stop you adding some of the options back in afterwards - though perhaps not the panoramic sunroof...

Hi Fred,

GreenLine has engine stop start and energy recovery systems.

I have got a Greenline Yeti on order as I think it will make an excellent all rounder, especially in the area where we are based.

God knows when it will turn up but when it does anyone is welcome to have a go.

If I hadn't of already had the Fabia Greenline II I'd have bought a Yeti Greenline.

Seems a good mix of abilities for those that do a few miles.

I was wondering if the fifth gear that was fitted to the Greenline was any taller/longer than the standard five speed box's fifth. Does anyone know? :smirk:

I took it odd that the Greenline did not get the 6 speed box?, well at least according to the Skoda UK website :wonder:

A six speed box is heavier and more expensive to make, on a manual it can be better for economy just to put in a five speeder with long ratios.

Can't help wondering if the Greenline Yeti will start off with panels to improve the aerodynamics fitted on the underside and then they will gradually leave bits off as production progressses, rather like the RRP. emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
