hi all ive just stumbled across this forum while searching for answers on a wiring problem ive had with my fabia tdi and got great answers on here. after growing up with vws and owning various dubs over the years including polo coupe, golf gti and curently got a caddy pick up on the drive which been a project that just not had the time to finish i went for practicality and the tdi elegance and i must say what a great car its been for the past two years, am thinking its about time i changed it for a vrs if anyone no's of any for sale? its amazing how far skoda has come over the years from being a joke 20 years ago to being one of the most reliable cars on the road these days and highly rated by so many.. me being one of them..

anyway just thought i would say hi and will be about alot now..

Upgrading Infotainment System To Get Android Auto

Hi All, I have recently inherited a 2015 Skoda Fabia from my late Grandad, at current it has the Bolero (I think) 5Q0035820. I have been told in order to get Android Auto I should upgrade this to the 5Q0035842. To do this is the only thing I need to change the box behind the glovebox or do I need to change the screen as well. Additionally I have found a listing for a 5Q0035842B from a Skoda Octavia, am I correct in thinking this will work in my Fabia.

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all. After numerous 'phone calls and emails I accepted that they weren't going to admit that they hadn't actually tested it. I gave up and took the car to an authorised
