When did the octavia vrs mk1 change the rear wiper arm? Mine is like a scenic style one with the full cover over it? All early ones i've seen are like golf mk4 ones?

Mine's an '02 and it had the normal style open blade. My mate had an '04 and it had the covered blade. Dunno when the crossover was.

I think that the 2004 model year was the change over. Mine is a November 2003 on a 53 plate and has the covered in wiper are. I looked at some 03 models before mine and they were the other type with the open blade.

Hi Dean forgot to tell you that on saturday night in leeds when i picked my GF and her mates up i saw 3 03 reg octy taxis with the same wiper as yours, amazing what you notice after someone points something out
