Must Have Accessory - Air Horns

Featured Replies

Having driven a mini for the last 7yrs i've learn the value of a good set of air-horns.

Has anyone mounted a set of these to their furby? If so - any pointers for where to take power feeds & mount the horns/compressor?

I mounted a klaxon behind the lower grille (which is removed by pushing it inwards, if I recall). There was a screw terminal on the battery not doing anything, so I took power from there via an inline fuse. Rather than use the steering wheel horn push, I added another ASR switch (which is a momentary action switch, not push on/push off) which confuses everybody except me.

Or you could go for a trucker style roof mounted cord!! PAAAAAAARP! :)

I have actually looked into that for the mini (small car - large presence if u cut me up....) but decided it'd probably shake the car to bits...
