Anyone used FK Street coilovers?

Featured Replies

Seem very cheap at £200 from venom!

I have them on my Touran - do the job, seem well made - better than the TA Technix I had on my polo. bit more confortable!

Seem a very good price, and the edition 38 boys also have only good things to say :)

Anyone else before I dip my toe?

I'm looking to get a set in the summer so let me know how you get on with them!

I'm seriously considering these too now I have changed alloys and it looks like a monster truck. Simon can vouch for this! :giggle:

Sounds like they are a goer then!

If you get them let me know how they are.

Comparing them to the axle weights on kws and aps they are 10kg less on the front and 20kg more on the rear. Is this 10kg on the front gna make a difference?

Good kit for the money but the JOM are also worth considering.

Give me a shout if you need any prices or info.

Had them on for coming upto 4 months now, fully wound down, ride is a bit bumpier (too be expected), but had no problems what so ever (despite losing my splitter on the M4 and a few cringing scrapes :D. Only advice I would give is to smother the threads in grease before fitting as they are not galvanised, meaning that down the line you will have a problem when trying to adjust them.

Realistically what is the ride going to be like on the compared with the higher end stuff... Id like to try and keep some ride comfort when I change

normanmatthew- have you had to use the shorter drop links with them wound right down?

damian how do you rate the JOM coilovers?

thanks, jordan

it wouldnt make a difference i would think, 10k isnt an aweful lot when your talking about that kind of weight, it obviously wouldnt matter if they are made for the car? must be ok :)

For the money it's a really good choice and one of the best budget kits on the market. Fully TUV approved and 2 years warranty.

What warrenty on the £200 FK Damian?

Think I'm gna take the plunge tomo. Yeh I understand you get what you pay for but if there gna last me a year I'm happy. And at this price it let's me afford these sooner.

Same here

I'm just waiting to see if Dpm can match venoms price as I'd prefer to purchase from them.

I have AP coilovers - paid £300 or so when I got mine, were on special offer so nearly £400 or more usually, plus I know the guys at G-Werks.

Rate them really well, better than FK by miles.

JOM 2 year warrenty is defo worth it. Tho have no idea how they handle etc..
