Fabia reversing light switch/sensor location

Featured Replies

Hi i`ve had an intermitent fault for a few weeks now, when you put the car in gear the reverse light will not always come on,if you wiggle (technical term) lol,the gear stick it will go on and off.So i`m assuming there is a sensor and it`s not making a good contact. But how do you find it`s location please? Any help would be appreciated.

It`s a Fabia classic estate 1.4 on a 02 plate.

Thanks Keith.

Many thanks,is it an easy job to remove/replace this item myself or are we looking at main dealer to sort?

Regards Keith.

I think its an easy job to replace as mine done the same a week ago but I am unable to get under the car and do jobs now. so the garage done it in 1/2 hour and charged £28:00 total so it must be easy to get at.
