fabia in the wind

Featured Replies

In the high winds this weekend I have noticed my fabia seems to be really susceptible to cross winds at high speeds. anyone else noticed this or am I just not used to such a small car?

It's more the force of the wind IMO. The Fabia's not really that bad, you just have to expect a little movement in bad weather.

My VRS replaced a Citroen AX GT, now that kept me on my toes in bad weather!

It's not just the Fabia's mate it's all cars. (Except these stream lined sports cars of coarse), and lets be honest the Fabia is a bit boxy.

How do you think van drivers etc feel. :giggle:

Yes its probably my paranoia, and it has been exceptionally strong this weekend, Seems to be worse affected than my Dad's astra van though. Had some new tyres fitted so i was worrying that this was thew cause but im pretty sure its just the wind!

I've always found the Fabia stable in the wind compared to some cars so I wouldn't be concerned

I think its good compared to my fiesta that i had. we'll see on the way home tonight how bad it is... watch the space.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Fabia held up on the A1 on Friday evening, a HGV wasn't so lucky and ended up blocking a lane for most of the night. I fly for a living though, so I'm used to the wind.

I've got an E34 5 series, weighing in about 6.5tonne, and I even felt the wind shoving me about in that it's been so strong recently!..... it's not just the fabia.
