paint for calipers good match and cheap.

Featured Replies

Hello! i have come to paint my calipers and after searching hammerite smooth green seemed the only colour with a good match but as we know is no longer available.you can get it of ebay but pay over the odds.

I have found a paint which is an identical match or as close as you can get.Got a spray can from halfords its Rover Java green and is just short of £7 its a spray paint so can get a good finsh.

Hope this helps Damien

yes me too when i saw hammerite on the net for £20 pound plus i thought forget that. How do you get a picture on here i could take one of the paint match so people can see it!

Will standard spray paint hold up to the heat in a brake system?

i thought this but thought well it already has factory paint on it already and the hammerite paint isnt heat proof and no one has issues with that plus il give it ago and see what happens!

It'll be fine, as long as you don't do track days etc..

I'm not so sure, I've managed to get sparks and flames pouring out of my wheels before now with a mere bash around the back lanes.... not the brightest idea granted.
