Retro-Fit Cruise Control

Featured Replies

As a newbie I apologise if I'm asking something has already been covered.

I am trying to fit Cruise Control to my 2008 Octavia 2.0TDI 4x4. Have installed the stalk without problems, recoded the Steering Wheel Controller with VCDS, code accepted but, still no Cruise. Do I have to run a wire from the Steering Wheel Controller to the ECU ? or do I need to change the ECU coding? The ECU number is 03G 906 021 SS for the BMM engine.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated, thanks

Pretty sure you have wire it in back to the fuse box I think, not 100% sure but I looked into retrofitting cruise into my VW Beetle and it was replace stalk, encode the ECU and run a cable, so if you havent run a cable then thats what needs doing B) Hope that helps.
