Hi everyone my wifes 07 fabia vrs has lately been idling high when started ,

wether it be hot or cold , It seems to idle at about 1500 rpm .

If you tap the throttle pedal it tends to settle back to 1000 rpm .

Sometimes when you drive at a constant speed around town or something like that ,

when you come off the throttle it drops the revs to 1500 rpm

Sounds like something sticking or some thing ?

Any ideas .

Throttle pedal control module faulty (very common.) 1/2 hour labor part is about £90

yes throttle position sensor needs replacing
