Vrs Bumper For Fl Octavia

Featured Replies

I'm planning on buying a superskoda FL vrs bumper with LED daytime-running lights...have a couple of questions

1) Are the connections all the same or do I have to make any modifications.?

2) Will the led drl connect directly to the existing connections for small drl bulb provided in the fog lamp cluster ?

3) Any other thing I should know about before I go ahead with this ?

And please anyone handy with photoshop please please fit one to my car please !!!!!!! ( I know i can pick any vrs octy and will look the same but still >>>:giggle::p

PS - Dealer agreed to paint it in arctic breeze colour !

Have you tried ebay or the main dealer before Superskoda? You may be surprised at the price difference. B)

As to the other questions, sorry I can't help, and the photoshop rerquest may be difficult, to find an image of a vRS posed the same as yours then changing the colour etc, bare with me though, I like a challenge.

EDIT: Best I can do, rather than chop a vRS bumper to yours, paint a vRS your colour.....ish!

No bother, did the picture serve a purpose? If you can upload a picture of yours in the same pose as the picture I added I will be able to do a proper jojb.

Just had a look on the SS site, not a bad price for the OEM Bumper, but the DRL's are extra and mega money!! :o Also I think you will have to buy all the grille inserts seperately as well.

Is the PDC parking sensors by the way?

Ya pic helped ....kind off...! I know it's difficult to gt the colour...but trust me the photo doesn't do the colour justice.........it looks neat in person!!!

I don't think the drl will be sold separately though as I think its part of the bumper assembly jus lik the fog light housing .... However this is just a hunch can be wrong !!!

Ya PDc are the parking sensors !!

Thanks for your help.... Will try n post a similar pic soon.....

N I can confirm that it s just a matter of replacing the bumper .....nothing extra required to be done

I think you need to read the small print before you commit! It says it is 'sold as a sole bumper' my interpretation of this is no DRL's, no fog lights and no grilles, maybe you should phone them first.

Regarding fitting, apart from the electrics I would imagine it's a straight swap.
