I just sold my Audi 2.6 V6 cabriolet and my A4 Avant and bought myself a VRS Octavia in lovely black on a 03 plate from the local Skoda dealership.

I took a brand new one out on a test drive last Saturday, then again on the Tuesday and put a deposit down on the Wednesday, pick mine up tomorrow!!!

Yip hee, well i was smitten, what a laugh it is to drive, i've had performance bikes for over 10 years so i now about speed, still have Ducati 748 sp in the garage, (that won't be moving for a while).

My dealer gave me this website and it's very good!

So i'll get use to it then i'm going to have to chuck a bit of money at it, you all here this all the time i'm sure but whats to do first?

I don't have a skoda (too young) but dad does and he was always telling me to read some of the posts on here so i ended up joining here!!! hee hee hee.

This lot on here have mostly done loads of mods to thier cars!! Just whatever you do don't make it chavvy!!! lol.

But i love speed (not the cheep drug!) the real thing, ohh this is my first turbo car, so i wouldn't mind that wuushh noise when you change gear, not areally loud Cosworth one a nice suttle one any ideas, to what does that and costing would be good, and is it a benefit or just for show???

Didn't day anything about having two of them in there, so I'm in the clear of all "chav" connotations. Although like a muppet chav I can't seem to figure out why mine's not working... I've even disconnected the two sub amps, and the comps still cut out at high volumes... Everything seems to saying "You've gpt a 5.h.i.t HU mate!" so I'm refitting my repaired Pioneer a.s.a.p

1st mod i'd do if i was you would be the Nuespeed Rear Anti-Roll Bar.

will remove the majority of understeer that the Octavia has when pushing on.

Cool, where would one get one of those from and how much does it cost? can you fit em yourself or does someone in the south do a drive in drive out service? :confused:
