Columbus Sat Nav In Vrs

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Been a bit of a lurker here the last few weeks since buying a vRS. Great site

The car I bought is a pre-facelift CR170. It has the facelift interior but not the body. It's a well specced one with xenons, wheel upgrade, maxidot etc.

I bought a RNS-510/Columbus sat nav at the weekend and had it installed. Prior to this it was the standard "swing" radio. When this was installed the Audio menu showed up on the maxidot however since the installation this has disappeared. The guy that fitted it for me tried to code it through VCDS but had no look. He was in module 17 (not sure of the exact name) which would usually contain the coding for this (it came from his own 06 vRS TFSI). The unit is about 18 months old. Also the sat nav menu isn't appearing on the maxidot.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get the Audio and Nav menus to appear? The phone, MFD and Convenience menus are still there.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Eoin
