TBH I don't have time to keep putting pics up and posts I will try or ask my wife to do it???

westallc,i'm going for the backdraft garrett gt2860 base kit, fitted by me,with ie rods and je pistons 1.9 re-bore,gas flowed head, sachs clutch and wavetrac lsd,oh water meth aswell.that lot comes to £7100 + mapping, downpipe, intake.i'll take the engine and box out myself. i would have gone hybrid ko4 for better spool but they run so hot.

nice personally woundnt go for that turbo but each to there own and all that

good luck buddy are you going large port head??? uprated valves etc etc

p.s have you been in a car with this setup ??

spk to andyrew on here he had this exact setup he can give you the best advise

thanks mate,i'll pm him.i did think about the gt2858 as a slightly quicker spooling option, but it wont make the peak figures i wish the ko4 hybrid was not wound up so tight.they can make 330 bhp on scn.same power level as i hope to get out of my set up.i wonder what they would be like side by side at the lights.its gonna be a road car for a couple of years or so,then its gonna get stripped out and used on track,if i had the cash i could spend £50,000 on it quite easily.i noticed on here that you simplified the n112 and n249 setup on mikes yellow vrs.could you do the same for mine please, for a fee of course.

yes mate of course i can

gt28 imo for a road car will be pants all top end when you better of with a fast spooler as you cant do 140mph everywhere lol

k04 in 6 months time will be a 350 bhp turbo its still in research stages and the nigles are beig ironed out and once badger bill and r-tech etc etc have finished that will be the best option

there is a new k03s hybrid+ about to be tested wich there hoping for 300bhp and silly fast spooling lol that would be nice

all the best

clive

westallc you have a pm.

Just seen you're only up the road from me Mark, you will have to take me for a spin when you get the bigger turbo ;)

will do mate,it wont be for a few months yet,it'll give me a chance to see how these ko4 hybrids develope.i'll probably go garrett gt2860 though.std turbo will hopefully be more reliable.ko4 hybrid will keep my feet warm through the bulkhead though.

I'll look forward to it  I'm wondering what to do with mine after getting the suspension sorted, I've recently been looking at S3's, EVO's and Imprezas on eBay, don't know whether to go for something new? Kind of thinking better the devil you know? I know my car is pretty much spot on with no hidden surprises.

i'm sticking with the octy, its a great sleeper.i got overtaken by an 04 m3 the other day on the a34,he could'nt get away from me.he bottled it at a "certain" speed.its the look of suprise on peoples faces when they cant get rid of you,or when you hoof it past them,in a skoda!i'll never sell it!
