Good Deal on Engine Oil @ Asda

Featured Replies

Hi All,

The bigger Asda's (branded Asda Walmart's) are doing good deals on engine oil.

I just bought some longlife Castrol Edge 5W-30, prices are:

1 Litre £10

4 Litre £30

They also had Edge 5W-40 as well.

Prices are good compared to on-line, so I've stocked up :)

I think Tesco are doing an even better deal - I think I spotted the same oil for about £16-17 for 4litres at the weekend? I don't need, so didn't pay too much attention admittedly

Blimey you sure?!! That would be a steal.

I got it for nothing, just put it under my coat and walked out. Now that is what I call a steal.

Only joking of course, could not resist it.

I did notice my local Tesco was doing 1 litre Edge at about £12 which was still more than Asda.

They didn't have any 4 litre ones.

Still I've I compare it to Opie then it's good prices

Hmmm, might give local Tesco's a look. Don't have any larger Asdas nearby.

Thanks for the tip

Or £20 per litre at your frendly M1 service area.:smirk:

That is very cheap! I bought a 1 litre Longlife Castrol Edge 5w-30 yesterday from Halfords in Redhill, Surrey for a daylight robbery price of £16.99!!!! Which is 10x more than the cost of fuel for 1 Litre!

The 4 Litre one was £45!!!! I'll never buy my oil from Halfrauds again in the future!
