Tesco is closer to me so I use theirs. Only one I definitely wouldn't use is Morrisons after they changed their diesel to be more biodiesel than is allowed by the British Standard that covers diesel fuel (more than 7.5% bio element IIRC). I have half a feeling ASDA has gone the same way, resulting in their fuel not being BSEN590 compliant either but I could be wrong, I rarely shop there at all let alone for fuel.

Always found Tesco to be fine though, so I keep going there as I'm there several times a week for food shopping so it's convenient and it gives me Clubcard points that I'm more likely to spend than Shell Club points.

never had an issue, i always use shell fuel save diesel

Cheers for the advice, they flushed out the tank this afternoon and replaced the fuel filter and it's still cutting out & won't restart. They are gonna investigate the fuel pump tomorrow - good job my new credit card arrived last week !!!

Got the car back this evening, they've fitted a new fuel pump relay which had blown and replaced some fuses. It was road tested for an hour and seems fine now, running nice and smooth (by diesel standards !!) Fingers crossed that's it as I didn't fancy another day with the W reg Felicia courtesy car
