Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0TFSI Fuel pump Group Buy

Featured Replies

Anyone interested in a group buy?

Cost will be £400 fitted(£355 delivered) in TW3,london

With the fuel pump changed you can run more fuel so will be able to increase mid range torque and power on standard internals and alot more with exhaust and induction kit.

It's also a must mod for stage 2.

Cost will include labour and parts to remove fuel pump fit uprated internals and refit.

May even include a dyno run depending on how many people we can get together.

Need around 5 people for this. Add your name below if interested.

Im no longer running my octy vRS but im all ogver the tuning side of things on it and im intrigued as to what pump internals you are using.

I know autotech internals only cost £300 new and group buy prices are regularly below £240. Fitting of internals is an hours labour, ususally around £50.

Autotech internals also seem to be the most reliable, with KMD being the least reliable from what i gather. From what i gather the Autotech HPFP that have failed have been due to the OEM seals that they utilise breaking down. The KMDs from what i gather failed as a design full stop. who knows though, thats just forum babble.

Its also not need at stage 2 at all, unless you have a map that has been poorly written and is requesting to much fuel in the midrage. However it is required for stage 2+

I only say as it does seem excessively expensive for HPFP internals. Theres an autotech HPFP deal running on the GTI forum at the moment for £230....so not far off half the price of the gold plated ones you have been offered   sorry for being the bearer of good news :smirk:

This GB has finished but PDT has a new one for 2011, but the price has gone up 60 quid!! :(

Being in the know do you think I would benefit more from leaving the car at stage 1 with EVOMS and fitting a HPFP rather than adding the sport cat and remapping to stage 2?
