activating cornering lights vag-com

Featured Replies

I have xenons fitted which I understand swerve round bends. What about cornering lights (a fog light coming on, around bends)? Can I get this activated at the next service? I don't have automatic sensing lights, by the way... the car is a MkII vRS petrol manual hatch. Thanks :smirk:

What year is the car?

The cornering xenon lights are only available on the facelift model which I presume you have, you should notice the Xenons cornering in use.

The cornering fog lamps only work below 40km/h and are linked to the steering angle, the indicator overrides this, turning on whichever fog light matches the indication side.

Do you have the maxidot dash display? it can be enabled in the settings menu on certain models. Failing that, VCDS can activate it.

Not 100% sure if the dealer system can do it, I am guessing it can.

I've not heard of the cornering fogs being able to be controlled via maxidot. Which models do you think it's available on?

Just to put the record straight...Cornering Fogs CANNOT be activated in the MaxiDot menu.

ONLY through VCDS/VAGCOM
