although it's nothing special, but we're pleased that having ordered my wife's Fabia last Friday, the dealer confirmed today that it was built and was getting ready to be shipped from the factory.

It's an Aqua blue SE 1.2 TSI with no extras, other than the free mats the dealer is throwing in... so it may have been a cancelled order, who knows, but it's a good sign...

If only I could say the same for my Superb... order 30th Sept, current ETA first week in May...!!

Ordered a vRS on the 10/01/2011 and still no build week! Am I winning or losing? Hmmm :S

Well, it was ordered on the 4th Feb, built on the 11th, delivered at the dealer on Thursday (24th) and has been PDI'd and will be delivered to our house by the dealer on Monday so that it's ready for the 1st March

So that's less than a month from order to delivery... if we weren't after an 11 plate, we could have probably picked it up today!

Really can't wait (although this is for the missus... I've got a long wait ahead of me for my Superb which I ordered at the end of September!)

I even managed to get a picture as the car was being unloaded from the transporter and another before it had all it's protective covers removed.

Roll on Tuesday morning... I might even sneak in a quick drive at 00:01 on Monday night (whilst the missus is asleep )

Popped into my dealers today to sign off on my VRS so the car can be registered. Picking it up on Wednesday as work precludes me from doing so on Tuesday but was able to sit in the car as it is still in the showroom :yes: . I feel like a kid at Christmas, can't wait to get my hands on it.
