right was riving down the motorway the other morning when the brakes on the vrs felt really strange (technical term) while using the brakes the initial bite felt like there was nothing there until it felt like the pads had warmed up when the brake bite then became real good as far as i know theey are standard pads and discs on, only had them changed a few months ago near by me, any info or ideas would be very appreciated

Was it raining? I did find the std setup would do this. Its not nice but once the disks have dried they are back to normal. I just got into the habit of touching the brakes to keep them dry

Find out what discs and pads they used sounds like cheap stuff to me???

I am having the exact same problem. Pads and discs only about 15k on them. Hoped they would have lasted longer?!

May be break fluid but can't get to it to see the level properly!

They were dealer fitted. And don't look glazed. It has been v wet and they do stick, as though water been cleared from them, but even still, not having confidence in your brakes is a worry!

I have just changed they brake fluid on mine (not been done for 4+ years :o .

Wasn't expecting it to make much difference, but the initial bite is a lot better.
