If you have an order/SLI number, it should give you an idea whats happening. I understand in links to Skodas system, they did it ta assist with customers requests to find out how their order was going, but I think it works for any Skoda ordered from any UK dealer!

tried this after you posted before, got an e mail back saying it is only for people who ordered with the dealers in mansfield/sheffield.

Hmmm, wonder how my mate got it to work for his order as it's not from Bickertons or Rainworths? I feel a quick phone call is in order!

Finally got a build date for my 2.0 TDI CR DSG Scout 23 May 2011, delivery mid June - ordered on 27 Nov 2010.

Our non DSG Octavia Scout CR that was ordered mid December 2010 is currently scheduled for Build Week 29 (late July).

My non-DSG Scout CR was ordered 22nd Nov 2010, currently have provisional BW 28 (mid July); however it was BW 17, then nothing for ages, then BW 29, then BW 28, so when it'll actually turn up is anyone's guess!

Doesn't work for the order number I was given by Thompson & Potter, Burrelton, Perthshire, Scotland.

Apparently it now only works for the two dealers supporting it. My mate who told me about can no longer track his order through it :( either.

Its a shame, because it is the sort of thing that would be very helpful for all orders.

I would agree, except for the fact that I ordered my Scout through Rainworth in December and this system didn't show my order at all until about a month ago. Now it recogises the number, but no build date! 4 months and counting.
