Stripped Fabia's

Featured Replies

Anyone got any photos of stripped out/race prepped Fabia's?

The bloke I met for wheels last months was mega stripped, no rear door cards etc, can't for the life of me remember his name, Johnny something. There has been threads and pictures about stripped fabias before

Tempting...

I take some trim out for trackdays, etc, but I like having the car-semi reasonable so only run without back seats and rear doorcards, on a day to day basis. I might put the rear doorcards back in as not much weight, and they position the rear tweeters in a good place for audio.

Put semi slicks on.

It'll accelerate better and you can still have a complete car. ;)

edit:

How does stripping effect the handling, seeing as lot of weight is up front anyway and most of the rear trim is closer to the rear wheels ?

It makes the back end squirmy on braking and lift-off of throttle (which can be used to your advantage in corners ;)) This is one reason I have taken as much off the front as possible, or moved it to the back (like the battery)

I'm looking forward to seeing yours go at the Track Day.

Yeah braking with a wheel on the slippery white line was a good way to help things get extra squirmy.

I also remember an incident of you ending up facing the wrong way on the infield of an airfield near Bath :D

and here's me thinking everyone bought a diesel simply for fuel economy..... ;) ....:D

Id like to point out it was fo a Christmas Special RR day at JabbaSport in December! The best dressed car/person won.

I was the only one turned up like a plonker, so I won (well minus the very X-mas related Iron Man)

So I have a free JabbaSport remap out of it coursey of their nothern dealers. As I dont need it, thinking I might give it up for Charity?

It does get a bit nippy in there :D

How much does charity cost these days? :p

Hahahahahaaaa love the Iron Man v Santa shot :)

Well me looking like a complete tw*t for one! (noting changed there then)

But thinking, throw it up on ebay or something and whatever it sells for, give it to charity...
