spot light

Featured Replies

just wondering if any one is getting condensation in there spot lights i seem to get it if i wash my car and in the morning only starrted since i changed bulbs

Spot lights? the Superb isn't fitted with any.

If you mean the fog lights then they are covered under warranty as most of the early cars got condensation in them.

I would however check that the bulb holders are located correctly (twisted all the way) before setting off to the dealers.

Condensation as in droplets of water or condensation as in fogging on the inside of the lense?

If it's fogging it's normal, it mentions it in the manual.

The front fog lights and headlights have breather tubes, when washing the car or in wet weather they can let in a little moisture which can condensate when they are warmed up, either by the sun or if the lights are used...

I have a bit of fog in my fog lights (9 months old) but not too worried about it yet

Al.

My offside fog light unit misted up after washing the car last week. I left the engine idling with the headlights and fog lights on for 10-15 minutes. It was nice and clear after that.
