This will be via OBD.

This will be via OBD.

I take it the ECU on the 1.2 TSI hasn't been encrypted then to prevent re-mapping via OBD?

We are told that the 1.4TSI in the vRS is not able to be re-mapped via OBD (and may well never be able to be done :'( ) Any thoughts on this?

Tom

REVO have just bought a Fabia vRS and are in the process of stage 1 and 2 mapping on it. (its on their facebook page) from what i gather they are not restricted by the new encryptions now

be good to see what these little 1.2TSIs can push outonce mapped. Id bet you good for 125-130hp. would be impressive for a little 1.2

The ECU on the 1.2TSI is entirely different to the one on the 1.4TSI and so the rules on encryption apply in totally different ways.

The 1.2TSI ECU can be remapped via OBD, currently the 1.4TSI cannot.
